Received an email from this email address НARP Еlіgіbіlіty <[email protected]>, when I clicked on it, it took me to http://harpqualified.com/?req_id=1435621 to supposedly check my eligibility and to check my credit score and supposedly there is a page on the credit score document that displays DTI percentage, however, it asks for credti card information to participate in credit monitoring. I exit from it because I do not need to pay for credit monitoring as I get it free from several of my credit card issuers. Anyway, I get a phone call from Lana at Loan Depot and she called from this phone number 410-777-5958 wanting to speak to me about a loan rate for which I requested. I then asked her to repeat who she was and where she was calling from and I told her that I did not inquire of a rate but tried to fill a form to see if I was eligible for a HARP refinance, even though I've never been late on a mortgage but am slightly underwater due to the crash. Anyway, I told her that I will not deal with companies that try to be slick and to take my name and number off any call list. I do not think it right to have someone click on basically an ad for one thing and then they try to slick you into purchasing a score and credit monitoring and then to have the audacity to call to provide a mortgage rate on a property that 1) has not been appraised and 2) possibly not knowing my credit rating or score.
