"She informed him that there were multiple clients in our area that were interested in purchasing our truck for $500 more then asking price "
I can't understand how that pitch is supposed to work. Who gets offered more than they are asking for a vehicle? If it's a rare collectable at auction I could understand it, but these folks are calling the average Joe who put an ad for their common used vehicle on the Internet.
You'd have to abandon all common sense to think that someone is going to call you on the phone, offer you $500 more than your asking price (why?) and only charge you $149 for the privilege of putting you in touch with these seemingly senseless individuals who insist on paying more than is being asked.
With the vast number of reports that I see on this company, it's the pitch apparently works with some people. I just can't imagine who.
