I went to this pediatrician yesterday from an appointment I set up two weeks ago for two well child check ups. I initially asked on the phone while scheduling my appointment if I could be seen before a certain time because I had another appointment, so naturally when I got there I reminded this follow appointment and that's when it all started. I was told there were 4 other people ahead of me even though I had made my appointment time and had already gone onto their website to print off the new patient forms and filled them out ahead of time, I was told they schedule people every 15 minutes. I didn't understand why there were still, four people ahead of me and tried to understand the situation better and noticed that each answer and reply came with a wink, a repeating of my question, or a sarcastic smile from Mr. Valdez whom is the doctors husband.

If that wasn't enough the younger man that sits on the computer became involved, also smirking. Irritated at their lack of professionalism and over scheduling for a one doctor office, I also mentioned how concerned I was that no one in their office actually picks up their phones. If you call their office you will notice it always goes to voice mail, you can't actually set up an appointment right there and then. Speaking of which, I also tried to schedule a sick visit for my daughter a week ago through them and was told they could not see her for another two weeks, for a SICK visit. I had mentioned at the office that if this was the way they treated their customers I might just go to another doctor and was told " I probably should", needless to say, I sat back down waiting to meet the doctor since her staff and clearly her husband were the issue, 30 minutes passed when two Hispanic families were seen before me that I had been there first before them. I go to the desk and ask why they were seen before me and I'm told that they are refusing my service. I asked why they let me sit in their office for 30 minutes waiting for the doctor and I was told I was told I was going to get no service, which is false. Again, laughed at, smirked at. They just thought the whole thing was hilarious.

For a office that was shut down and reopened again I am shocked at their mistreatment towards patients. I have an open case with the Texas medical board, my case worker for my insurance and I will also be going to court for discrimination and refusal of service. DO NOT take your children here.

I disagree with the fore mentioned complaint. My child has been a patient of Dr. Valdez for almost two years and have nothing but good comments about the doctor and her staff. I have always been treated with respect and have seen the same with all other patients, not "customers." That might have been the mistake of the person filing the complaint, expecting to be treated as a customer rather than a patient. If the wait time took longer than expected, it was most likely due to the doctor taking the time to listen to the patient's concerns in order to better treat them. As for the discrimination allegations, couldn't disagree more. I have seen people from all different races and backgrounds in that office, from employees to patients, and everyone gets treated in the same manner, with humility and respect. It is such a benefit to the community that Dr. Valdez is able to speak more than one language as she is able to relate and help many more whose English isn't their native language. Her patients appreciate that and it shows. I encourage others to not let the negative opinion of one individual to influence the decision of ever seeing Dr. Valdez or referring people to her, I highly recommend Dr. Valdez and Loving Care Pediatrics.

I find it funny that one is replying from a brand new account with no other complaints or rebuttles under their name. Almost as funny as how this report was filed today and within hours your replied back. If legal actions are taken upon me for my " opionon", of this establishment i'm sure a motion of discovery will find your email address and your ip address to be in conjunction with a employee of the establishment. Your Capital letters and cussing wont change my opinion, thoughts or right to complain against this company nor remove my American rights of freedom of speech. They may have had the right to refuse service towards sick children, which in their favor is not the best decision since it is a pediatric facility and there were others in the waiting room witnessing the incident whom will more than likely move offices, but thanks to you and your smooth reply towards this family owned business, they now have access, like you to see your comments, your newly made profile and judge for themselves exactly what type of " business", this is. Have a wonderful career. And in the future, when someone tells you they are going to report you too all affiliation of complaints and legal matters, you dont' tell them too, " go ahead", you seek remedy if you care anything at all about your reputation or business. In the end, the customer should be first priority. May this be a lesson learned in your malicious childish behavior.

Unfortunaly YOU are the problem. THEY are under ZERO obligation to provide YOU service if they chose not to. That's the GREAT thing about a capitalistic society. YOU showed your a*s and they CHOSE to no longer provide YOU service. Perhaps in the future YOU will remember that YOU are no longer as important to the economy. Even if YOU told 50 ppl about your experiences all you would be doing is pushing MORE business to them. The WHY on this is easy. Customer respect a business that pushes back. Customers no longer want the level of service that was demanded a hundred years ago. NOW a customer wants to come in and be taken care of and be on their way. And if they get to witness a self entitled dipwad get whats coming to them, EVEN BETTER!!! Its like reality TV without commercials. YOU seem to think that YOU have any form of power in todays market............from your own post....... I have an open case with the Texas medical board, my case worker for my insurance and I will also be going to court for discrimination and refusal of service. This is going to fail on you. Due solely to the FACT that as a business THEY have the RIGHT to refuse service to ANYONE for ANY REASON!!! YOU were NOT discriminated against unless your crappy attitude IS race related. Even the Medical Board will tell you the same thing. This may be a doctor, but they are protected by the very same laws that protect every business. Which means that YOU are going to spend time and energy and lose. Then after it is over YOU can expect a nice fat civil suit simply from what YOU posted here. Im tempted to send this doctor a email pointing them to YOUR post. Odds are that THEY know EXACTLY who YOU are. Since THEY have all your information on file, it would be a simple matter for them to retain a lawyer and sue you for defamation of character and slander. Since this entire situation is due to YOUR inability to act like an adult, THEY will have a civil case that THEY will win. I hope YOU like bankruptcy because THAT will be the ONLY remedy you have. And ALL of this could have been avoided had YOU been a better person. Must be nice to know that YOU could have stepped back at any time and acted like an adult instead of a petulant child, but since you did not that YOU only have yourself to blame. Theres two groups you don't screw with online. Doctors and Lawyers. Lawyers because they pretty much live in a courthouse so they have unfettered access to judges. And Doctors because THEY have more then enough money to CRUSH anyone that slanders them. Doctors live by the reputation they build with their patients.
