Complaint Review: Loving Touch Animal Clinic - Stone Mountain Georgia

Our dog was niagnosed with Chondro Blastic Osteo Sarcoma, which is the worst possible cancer, and it attacked the worst possible area. Online reseach shows that such breeds as our dog (Boxer- Pitt) can develop most osteo Sarcoma cancer's between ages 8- 12. Our dog just happens to be age 8. He had a severe hip dislocation 6 months prior, which speculates the possiblity of any enternal injury, that can result in commencing the disease that just so happens to be gene'd within their bone cells.

Here's the problem... these types of cancerous diseases have been prominate in these types of dogs and others alike for several years, without much chance for servival. Hense, it should not be any secret to a skilled veternarian. Some cases with any hope, have been cases where the cancer had spond within their ligimant, thus resulting in amputation, but NOT gauranteeing chance against reaccurance.

This just buys the animal some more time until a relapse of the same cancer should come back and effect another limb, or surround the animal's internal organ, as such the case with our dog. Now keep in mind, all of this experience first came to our acknowledgment Early June 2013... so why wouldn't a skilled veterinarian already know this? We first had taken our dog to our local vet, which initially wasted under $300 of our money, then we sent him back to the same vet, and demanded that something more practical be done.

This led to surgeory, but he came back with an even larger lump to his rib area. We were told that in was inflamation from the surgeory, but they also informed my wife that it was such a mess, that they couldn't get to most of the cancer without removing up to three of his ribs. Research shows that removing two alone is almost near impossible, and there are no prosthetic ribs. Keep in mind that our dog has been attached to our family as like one of our own kids that you would desperately do anything for.

Our vet pretty much knew the enevitable, but could not express outright enouch that our dog was already dead, and that his days were numbered. All of this is taking place within a 3 1/2 week period to which he will have to be placed down to rest by any day now... even perhaps by the end of this weekend. This is an extremely aggressive cancer, like that of an alien being, from the movie "Aliens". Upon searching for hope, we from Loving Touch Animal Clinic, who basically charged us $125 just to reveiw the records of our Vet, and give a second opinion, however Loving Touch practices Holistic remidees which do nothing to say the least!

You do not need anyone to tell you how to make your dog more comfortable. Nutrition is great in general, but they will NOT cure sqwat! I receive three different herbs form Loving Touch, one in particular was already opened, and our dog would not go near it, even while trying to mix it in his food. This brown powdered substance was also pre opened and only filled by 1/3 rd from the VET, however upon contacting them and explaining the facts that this stuff was of no use, they said that their "policy" prohibited any return and/ or credit of these holistic herbs.

Our Vet even allowed us to return some pain medicine, due to it's negative effects, just after adminersting the med. However, Loving Touch informed us that they would take their stuff back as a donation, just so they can sell it again to another sucker! This is down right capitalization on our desperation to find any help for our pet! These people do not tell you they're giving you an open container, but inform you that they cannot return something that they opened, and divided up, just so they can sell the rest to someone else, for GOD knows at the same price as a full container, but unused reuseable pills are refused back, but offered back for donation?

That's not the half of it... they were also trying to get me to fork out $115 for Omega 3 powder, that you can find in Fish Oil at Walmart for $6 bucks! We just had to give 3 gel caps per day to equivalate the same recommended dosage of their powder mix. Pound for pound, it was the same thing, and their lead doctor (Tighlman) admitted as well. Now we're stuck with an open canister or powdered crap, and a total waste of holitic herbs which will do absolutely Nothing! All this at a cost of just under $250. What a scam and a ripoff! Don't be fooled, and keep in mind that your NOT in your best state of mind at a time such as this! These people should be ashammed of themselves. This is a total ripoff!!!
