a one day kitchen and bath replacement was scheduled by lowes/ kraftmaid on 4-11-12! all old components were removed on 4-10-12. as of 2-28-13, we( the owners) are still waiting for consumation of the remodel! unacceptable quality and many other issues were the root causes. we were without ANY water, cooking, refrideration facility for 30 days! finally we gave up and returned back east to our other homes! this is all documented and true! we have formed an ad hoc coalition to redress this enigma!!! d.v. mcaran 419 554 4090 we welcome all comments thank you! d.v. mcaran 4195544090

As a 10+ year designer with Lowe's I have some questions. You imply that your home was already being lived in. Right? If so, what happened to your existing kitchen & bath cabinets/countertops?
Lowe's install policy is that customers make sure that their space/s remain intact & functioning until Lowe's, together with the property owner, have approved all components as ready to install. If any item/s need to be replaced Lowe's/KraftMaid do everything they can to expedite such.
This process keeps the Owner from being inconvenienced.
