Lucas Tire ripoff mistreated and ripped off chicago Illinois
I purchased tires from the Lucas Tire in Oak Lawn and when I purchased them everything was fine they told me I had a warranty and I also took out a extended warranty. The place where I purchased the tires went out of business but the Lucas Tire in Chicago told me they would honor my warranty. I drove a hour and a half to take my tires to the store, when I get there they tell me that there is nothing wrong with my tires.
I had got them checked at a another repair center. And they told me the tires were out of line. If I wanted the problem fixed I would have to take it back to the store that I have the warranty with. So anyway when I get to Lucas Tire they tell me that they don't have to honor my warranty because I didn't purchase the tires from them but I had called them on the phone previously and asked if they would honor my warranty.
So then I asked if they could balance my tires and they told me they were going to charge me $30.00 and I asked "is balancing the tires going to help the problem?" he said he didn't know well I said "if that is not the problem I don't want to pay unless I will get my money back".
The man stated that he had other customers and didn't have time for me. He asked me what did I want to do. I told him to go ahead and balance the tires then after I argued with him for about 15 minutes he said "forget it were not fixing your care how bout that" and I said you are not going to fix the car and why he said because we have other customers and he told us to leave the store.
