Luda Johnson and/or Richard Mulvehill Puppy Scam Fontana California
Beware of this scam. I was forwarded an email from a friend who knew i was looking for a Yorkie puppy. This person claimed to have a yorkie puppy that they were looking for someone to adopt. They wanted $350 for the adoption fee and they said they would cover the shipping.
After some back and forth emails and a picture of the puppy i wired them the money. Almost immediately i received an email saying that the puppy could not be shipped without paying some other fees. Tax fees of $80 and new crate of $360 (Ya right) and a change of ownership form fee of $320.
I can say i was gullible for the first part but these people need to get real. Anyway the two names associated with this scam are Luda Johnson and Richard Mulvehill. They had the money wired to Fontana CA.
Please learn a lesson from my mistake and be on the lookout for this and any similar scam involving puppies.
