Luxure Ripoff Scam Unauthorized Charges Internet
BEWARE - LUXURE IS A RIPOFF IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN A LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS SCAM COMPANY PLEASE CONTACT ME (((REDACTED)))
My story is just like everyone else's on this website. I ordered the "free" trial. 2 weeks later I was billed for almost $90. My bank thought it was fraud, declined the charge and contacted me. I didn't recognize the name they billed under "Happy Face Cream". The bank had a phone number attached to the debit. I called and spoke to an unhelpful customer representative who told me I had exceeded my 14 day free trial and now had a subscription to their product. I said I never signed up for any ongoing service from them and to cancel immediately. She said she couldn't cancel with an outstanding balance and that I needed to pay before she could cancel. I said no and she offered to reduce the charge by 35%. I still said no and she said balances would continue to accumulate and if I didn't pay it would go to collection. I said I'd contact the BBB and my state attorney general.
So we're at an impasse. This is a total ripoff and they're using Shark Tank and celebrity photos and endorsements to gain credibility. I have to believe that if Oprah and Ellen knew of the shady business practices they'd want nothing to do with this company and may even help us sue.
If anyone is interested in taking legal action against this company please contact me. If we pool our resources we can stop this. For every person like us who has taken the time to write about this shady company there are probably 100 more who haven't written, who have just been ripped off and paid. We can do something about this. Or we can let this company continue to thrive with deceptive business practices.
