On November 24, 2018, I took an online survey for Costco.  After completing the survey I was offered a free gift selection for taking the survey. I chose a men's wrist watch and was required to pay $6.99 for shipping only.

On November 29, 2018, I received the watch in the mail with a return address on the package from Luxy Fashion Life, P.O. Box 4709, Pacoima, CA 91333-4709 phone (877) 517-3637.  The shipping cost was charged to my credit card. After receiving my credit card bill, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $99.89 applied to my card on December 9, 2018 under tryhealthsrh.com.

Incidentally, the $6.99 shipping cost was listed under tryhealthsrh.com also.  After investigating the charge I found out tryhealthsrh.com is not a valid website and I traced the charge back to Luxy Fashion Life.  I attempted to contact Luxy Fashion Life at their customer service number (877) 517-3637 but received a recording stating I have contacted them after business hours please try again during normal business hours.

When I did contact them during normal business hours I was put on hold so long I got frustrated and hung up.  So I reported the scam and fraudulent charge to my credit card compay and had to cancel that card and order a new one due to the fact Luxy Fashion Life had my credit card number and I wanted to prevent them from making future unauthorized charges.  I also reported the scam to Costco.

In my opinion, Luxy Fashion Life is a scam. So consumer/buyer beware if you take an online survey and is required to pay shipping cost for a free gift, it could be a scam to obtain your credit card number and make unauthorized charge(s) or sell your credit card number to other scam artists. In addition, low cost trial offers may be a scam also so watch out.
