MacMall Aka PCMall IdeaMall No Discount of $400 If Paid With Cash Discount only with Credit Card ripoff Torrance California
I recently tried to purchase a new Mac computer for our Church through MacMall. Since the Church was PAYING CASH for the computer, NOT using the -0- interest offered by MacMall, OR charging the purchase on a CREDIT CARD, the Church CPA issued a Purchase Order, number and authorized a check for the full amount.
Unfortunately, since we were NOT using a CREDIT CARD, MacMall would NOT give us our DISCOUNT, of approximately $400. We were thus expected TO PAY A HIGHER PRICE FOR PAYING CASH.
After creative work, we did find we could purchase the equipment out of a different account USING a DEBIT CARD to get the DISCOUNT.
Next, we were informed that the price for one of the printers was WRONG in their catalogue, and they would have to charge us and ADDITIONAL $100 over the ADVERTISED PRICE. When I requested to speak to a Supervisor, I was informed that none were available.
