I ordered the Magic Jack sometime this May, 2008 based on what I saw on TV. It seemed like a neat device and they had a 30-day free trial in which they will not charge you for anything until you try it for 30 days. I got my magic mack maybe after a week and I was happy about that. I was also happy with the online chat support which was sadly missing with Skype that's why I cancelled my skype subscription. The magic jack was a replacement for my Skype. The gadget works.

However, my gripe about the company is that they immediately charged me for $66.85 when it clearly shows in the order details they sent me that they were only going to charge me $19.95 and the rest after 30 days. I talked to someone in the billing department (online chat) and he refused to refund the difference saying that he cannot refund the money until I return my magic jack. So I call this false advertisement. If they want to charge me immediately, then they should not say they will give you a 30-day free trial.
