Complaint Review: MAID 2 KLEEN - Chandler Arizona

I saw this report and thought WAIT A MINUTE! I have to help set the record straight.

I recently used Maid 2 Kleen. I also waited until the last possible minute to hire someone to clean my home. After months of 'just getting by' followed by a pretty big house party, I figured it was time to give in. I called a few companies to price things out, and it turns out that at $120.00 for 2 ladies at 3 hours, Maid 2 Kleen was reasonable.

The women who came to the house did a stellar job. They were punctual and worked really hard to make things spotless. I felt badly having someone do my dirty work, but, hey, maybe it's not such a terrible way to make money.

You can request the same people every time if you want.

I've priced out various services and Maid 2 Kleen is definitely at the lower end of average. They did an excellent job.

I'll definitely use this service again.

Just to set the record straight... These people were actually referred through a neighborhood blog by a very good and current customer of ours. A Ms Taunia Barnes of 2109 E Sunland Ave Phoenix AZ 85040-3432 contacted us on Monday, June 1st 2009 via email and set up an initial cleaning of her home insisting that it be on Thursday, June 4th as early as possible. I was able to create a 3rd route that day and give her a 9:00 to 9:30 arrival window. She was actually the farthest cleaning westbound that we had scheduled that day and we calculated the traffic and drive time wrong. ... Our crew of 3 ladies showed up at 9:42. My crew should have called me to let me know but, this sort of thing happens a lot and most people understand and are OK with being a few minutes late. We were 12 minutes outside the window. There was no response at the door when they knocked and rang the bell. They did, however, see a car driven by a woman exit the garage and drive away. I called Ms Barnes when they told me this. She was very upset and said she didn't want the cleaning because we were almost an hour late, which we weren't. She hung up on me at that point. I called back again and tried to see if there was anything we could do (since my crew now had a 2 hour hole in the morning). She said no and hung up. I tried calling 1 more time and she just hung up. At that point, I was about ready to call my crew when Mr Barnes called. He started out calm. He informed me he was in the house, refused to answer the door and to stop harassing his wife or that I "would get a piece of him" to quote him exactly. After he threatened me... I hung up on him. He then called me back 3 more times screaming profanities at me and threatening me physically... each time I hung up. I also got a few threatening texts from him. ... I just chalked this up as one of the 5% or less of the customers out there that aren't happy with anything... until a friend told me about this negative review a few weeks later. ... I am writing all of this to try to set the record straight because this report just hovers like a bad rash near the top of Google AND I have a sociopathic competitor that uses this every chance she gets on an online classified. ... Folks ... honestly ... in 5 years+ this sort of thing has happened twice. Sad thing is some people feed off stuff like this. My name is Jim Scheu.
