So, clearly there was a snafu with paperwork. For everyone telling them to report to AKC, it sounds as if they are aware of the situation. Were the dogs registration papers (and all offspring) revoked completely? Or are you unhappy that the puppy now has a different pedigree than the one you had originally thought? If she is not suspended, it will take some time and some work, but it can be straightened out. Purchasing the right to breed or show is not a guarantee of ability or quality, and that either of these can absolutely be done.So that would have to be in the contract specifically. However, if the papers have been revoked, you could go for a refund that would bring the purchase price to that of a similar quality unregistered chihuahua. If you could somehow prove that she INTENTIONALLY lied on her paperwork, then maybe you could go for some sort of damages on the rest. What a mess! What happened?

I agree, you should file a report with AKC, sounds funny that the dna did not match!! And if she sold you a pup with a pedigree, then that is what she should have sold you!! She should have done her homework before she agreed to sell the pup with pedigree. I heard of someone who did that with AKC, and got banned from them. Did she even tell you who the real dad was?

I have 2 reports out on me and both are from people that I just couldn't please or help. First lady Barbara wanted a free puppy plus to keep her first puppy ,and,I had AKC tell me I did not have to replace the lady dogs at all that he would still remain a breeding male with akc. Now second girl. She let her vet put her puppy to sleep then wanted me to replace it. I did not feel I should send another fat healthy puppy to Melisa to have put down just be cause she neglected to feed it. Im sorry these girls feel they got ripped off. I am happy that I do have lots a wonderful friends and customers that do know and love me and my puppys.. Thats all I have to say .Its wonderful that there are always two sides to every story..

I have known and done business with MaMa Chi for many years. I was aware of the situation as it was happening with the lady who has filed this report. She has given incorrect information- which I guess you can do if you choose too. While there was an issue when she purchased the male puppy from MaMa Chi- It was resolved to the satisfaction of AKC. It may have not been resolved to this lady's satisfaction as she didn't get to gain another puppy in addition to keeping the puppy she had as a pet, but MaMa Chi did all that was required of her through AKC. MaMa Chi does not sell puppies as show animals. MaMa Chi only sells them as pets. AKC granted the registration and closed the case.

I would file a letter of complaint to AKC on the dog seller. AKC can fine/restrict privages. False paperwork is bad----you need to stop this seller that now has you in a bind too. I am also having a difficult time with an dishonset dog seller ---currently waiting for her to correct paperwork for AKC so I can get our english bulldog AKC registered. Keep your letter active on rip off report --my seller said it hurt her business BUT she is the one that hurt/hurting her business by being greedy + dishonset. Good luck!
