RIPOFF REPORT VIP ARBITRATION
SUMMARY OF ARBITRATOR’S DECISION

Anonymous, Author of Report #718777,

Complainant Margo Rausenberger (the “Complainant”) has challenged the truthfulness of certain specific statements (each, a “Statement”) posted by Author Anonymous (the “Author”) on the Ripoff Report website at www.ripoffreport.com as Ripoff Report #718777 (the “Report”). The Author accused the Complainant of failing to provide satisfactory legal services. The Complainant denied all such accusations. The Author did not submit a response to the Complainant or any contact information. Therefore, in accordance with the Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration Rules (the “Rules), the Author waived their right to participate in this Arbitration. The Report was presumably submitted by a “Gabe”, but the Complainant provided evidence that they never had a client by that name. By submitting a Report and a Complaint on the Ripoff Report websites, both the Complainant and the Author have agreed to submit the dispute to the Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration Program.
In accordance with the Rules, the Arbitrator was asked to decide whether the challenged Statements were an opinion or a fact. If, and only if, the Statement was determined to be a statement of fact, the Arbitrator was asked to further decided if, by a preponderance of the evidence, to determine if the Statement was true or false. If the statement identified by the Complainant is determined to be an opinion, no determination will be made as to that particular Statement because an opinion cannot be determined to be true nor false.
In this case, the Arbitrator had only the evidence submitted by the Complainant to consider. The evidence submitted included Ripoff Report #718777, Complainant’s Arbitration Statement, Complainant’s Witness Statements, and supporting documentation.
Each Statement challenged by the Complainant has been considered, together with any Witness Statements and Documents provided by the Complainant for determination of the truth or falsity of the Statement. The Author did not provide a response to the Complaint.
The Arbitrator determined that the certain statements challenged in the Report were false. Therefore, according to the VIP Arbitration Rules, those statements have been redacted.

Please take notice that Margo Rausenberger has initiated an action in the Boulder
County District Court, Boulder County, Colorado, Case No. 2012-CV-328, due to
false and defamatory statements made by you (the "Action"). In the
Action, Ms. Rausenberger is seeking to subpoena the records of Xcentric
Ventures LLC for your contact information and any other messages that you have
posted on the website Rip Off Report, www.ripoffreport.com, under the pseudonym
"Gabe" or any other pseudonym, about Ms. Rausenberger, to the Louisville,
CO office of Thomas P. Howard, LLC at 842 W. South Boulder Rd., Louisville, CO
80302 in compliance with FRCP Rule 45.
If you do not respond by June 1, 2012 with your true and correct contact
information to: Thomas P. Howard, Esq. via email ([email protected] ) or
facsimile (303-665-9847), we will seek production of the records via subpoena
as outlined above.

I plan on soon starting a blog covering such practices by these tax resolution companies. I am especially interested in writing about how their actual contracts often don't match what they promise on the phone.
Would you be willing to send me a copy of the service's agreement (contract) they sent you? I would obviously ask that if there is any personal information on the contract that it not be included.

We are aware of the identity of the person posting bogus reviews of Ms. Rausenberger around the internet, and are preparing to pursue legal action. This posting is complete fiction. The writer didn't even spell Ms. Rausenberger's name correctly. The law school she attended is Whittier Law School in Southern California, where Ms. Rausenberger made the dean's list several times and participated in the Law Review and Moot Court. #1 This is Margo Rausenberger. Your statements here are completely fabricated. When I worked for 20/20 we did not prepare tax returns, and since I am not a CPA I have never signed and would never sign someone elses tax return. I have never had a client from Hoboken New Jersey. The law school I attended has never lost its accreditation, and this can easily be verified.
You are not a former client, you are a former coworker who was terminated and is
now holding a grudge. Your way to get back at me and my company is to make up
false stories about me and the attorneys I work with and post them on the
internet. You are the same person responsible for the additional comments posted
below first claiming to be a coworker named Sarah from Superior, and then
claiming to be a client named Sarah from Superior. Both comments were posted on
the same day, and both comments include anti-Semitic remarks. Its so obvious
you are the same person posing as both a coworker and a client.
I know who you are, and I intend to file a lawsuit against you for defamation. It would be
wise for you to retract this statement immediately.
