Marin Computer Repair Thieves, con men and crooks stealing your money San Rafael California

These are thieves, pain and simple. When I first walked in, I overheard a customer complaining. That should have been my first clue. I took my laptop in for repairs and was quoted $170. When I came back I was told that the laptop needed a new mother board which costs an additional $350-400. I was offered a new laptop which would play my gaming software better and faster, for an additional $550. I very specifically asked if the laptop being offered would have all my software installed and that the gaming software would function properly. I was told yes it would and that I would have a full week to test it, and if unsatisfied could bring it back, no charge. Based on that I paid for the new laptop. I got home and learned that it did not have a graphics capability thus would not play the games. When I returned 3 days later with the computer in the box, fully packaged as brand new, I was then told that it would cost me an additional $600 to upgrade it so that it would play the games! They refused to return my money, citing that they had lots of labor already in the deal, and that there would be a significant re-stocking charge, so best to pay the extra money. They kept my old computer, they kept their new laptop, plus all my money. This is how they do business. They knew from the very beginning that they were out to cheat and rob people and this is how they do it. STAY AWAY, they are nothing but crooks and thieves.
