The position will report to the Global Business Services Department and will be responsible for the development and management across multiple segments and other related requirements. Will lead and provide healthy strategic relationships with key regional providers within the local market to support the procurement team's strategic global and regional sourcing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop proposals with both global and regional suppliers
- Direct and execute operational policies that support aggressive improvements in payment and budgetary constraints and other areas as identified
- Forecasts and adapts strategy to changing conditions
- Make and serve contracts with national vendors in accordance with company standards
- Co-operate in coordination and analysis of industry trends and make recommendations to senior management
- Daily reporting of relevant information in the organization, coverage and usage for all contracted commodities
Minimum Personal capabilities:
- High energy level, and a bias toward action
- Good quantitative analysis skills
- Ability to quantify financial benefits
- Ability to to balance all functions within the role
- Intermediate level skill in computer skills, including MS Office
