I am not an employee, however, I can say this. If they claim that you "Checked IN" on those dates, then they have to have a SIGNED registration card and a SIGNED Folio with the final charges. If they do not have these items, then the charge will be refunded. If they have claimed that you made a reservation, they will have to provide some documentation that states clearly of the "no refund" policy, such as a website, or a form that you signed. Simply telling you is not good enough for the bank. Follow up with the dispute, it's worth it.

The rebuttal was professional and polite. So many people who write rebuttals here could take lessons. I just read a rebuttal from one business owner who called everyone morons and idiots. NOT professional in my opinion. I don't know anything about this complex (I'm on the opposite side of the U.S.) but again I want to compliment the manager for being pleasant and polite. Her attitude certainly would make me more inclined to rent from her.

Unfortunatley,we did not see this report until now more than 2 years after the event. The incident Amy had related was not brought to our attention , but handled by the resident manager. The market st manor is a small motel which does enforce a strict no-refund policy in order to accomodate the many individuals & families interested in staying at the property If the reservation was cancelled prior to the arrival date ,however a refund would have been made. Our apologies to Amy if a mistake was made-Our check of records did not indicate this. The market st manor motel prides itsself on offering The best value in a clean, safe and friendly enviroment. We recently welcomed a new manager, and feel confident that our guests have positive experiences at Market Street Manor If Amy reads this posting ,please call the manager at (530)241-9202 to see if we can resolve her negative experience.
