This mortgage was originally with Matrix Financial who held back payments for a few months and then filed for foreclosure. We were forced into bankruptcy .
Matrix never filed a proof of claim and they used trustee payments intended for post petition arrears to pay for other things than the ones the money was intended for.
They claim that they can use those funds any way they want.
In the meantime they also messed up with the escrow account showing different starting amounts in different escrow analysis all done within a few days difference , two of them even show actual deposits on one but not the other and to this day I have not received an explanation , these are the people who are supposed to be accurate handling my escrow account.
Recently they double paid my homeowners insurance , once in June 2006 and the other August 2006 , I guess they didn't realize that they had paid the bill already?
I am still trying to get an explanation to all the mistakes they have made but they are less than cooperative , we are in the middle of a big mess because of their mistakes.
To anyone contemplating getting a loan with them , take my advice and RUN the other way.
To this date they have not acknowledged any mistakes on their part.

I had to deal with these scumbags in that I had three false foreclosures on my credit report with one being Matrix Financial Services. The false information was being reported by the firm Dovenmuehle Mortgage in Lake Zurich, Illinois. I had disputed the information, and it was deleted. In dealing with the ignorant employees at Dovenmuehle Mortgage, they treat you like you are a liar and a criminal. The do not return telephone calls, or respond to letters. This is a very disorganized company, and very mismanaged. I did not have a loan with these crooks, and it was still difficult to get them to do anything. Dovenmuehle Mortgage has other mortgage companies it use to sell the loans to, really a paper shuffle, thus creating confusion, then they move in to STEAL your equity or home. This firm is full of liars and thieves. Do not use this firm for your mortgage lending needs. There are fair and sound lenders out there, but not here. This firm uses front companies to create the confusion of informing you your mortgage has been sold. They are Matrix Financial Services, Harbor Financial, QCWEN, New American Financial just to name a few. Do your research because if you use these slimy scumbags, you are in for a nightmare. Dovenmuehle Mortgage and Matrix Financial Services is an unfair, dishonest, corrupt, and unethical mortgage lender! Olga is correct, RUN the other way.
