Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Last Year I did 531 transactions and I am always looking for a new product or service to help my business. I support companies that have good values and new technologies that can help take your business to the next level. FavoriteAgent.com is by far the biggest joke I have come across.

They made riduculous claims about their product and I agreed to try them out. It sounded good so I signed up....however, I was never told their was a contract. In the state of North Carolina, I found out that if you give your information over the phone then they have the right to charge you whatever they want. (Found this out from my credit card company since they have been dinging my card for $120 a month for the last year plus) So when I disputed it, they would not remove it.

To this day, I have never seen their product, got a password to check it out, or even had a conversation with a live person about what the heck it really does. I was sold on the fact that it is some type of overlay web site that converts web visitors into leads. They were claiming conversion rates of 35-40% What a joke.

I have talked to several agents that claim this is untrue and have also had the same problems with this company. I called 5 or 6 times to let them know since I have not recieved any service from them that I would like to be refunded for the charges on my card, this started about three months into this.

Now, 15 months later, they refuse to cancel, claiming that the only way out is to buy out my contract. CONTRACT for what. I only had one conversation with this company and they have done NOTHING FOR ME! FavoriteAgent.com and Matt Jones, the owner have ignored my phone calls for a year. The responded to my attorney with some legal BS and refuse to let me out, knowing they have never spent a mintute of their time with me. The did the dog and pony show on the phone and bam I get stuck over and over.

Look, I have the #3 Coldwell Banker Team in the world, I don't have time for a-holes like this nor do I have time to write crap like this. This Matt Jones and Favorite Agent (Favoriteagent.com) are on my s#%t list now. Why not just give great service and have a great product. How hard is that? I would stay away from Matt Jones and FavoriteAgent.com if I were you!

Rebuttal to Jay Kinder's report

#2

Fri, September 11, 2009

Our company would like to issue a rebuttal to correct the false information posted by Jay Kinder on the Ripoff Report website.  We would like to remain as discrete as possible, since it is not our desire to harm him personally.  We support Jay's right to share his opinion; however, we believe even a cursory investigation into the claims made in this report would show them to be untrue.

Jay Kinder entered a two-year software license to our Virtual Office technology suite Pipeline-i on April 7, 2006.  As a matter of company policy, we require redundant authorization -- both electronic signature and telephonic verification, so that our records will stand up under any amount of scrutiny.  His transaction details are archived in our customer records, and we maintain a copy of the customer's original electronic receipt on file.  Mr. Kinder also received a copy of the electronic receipt, which details the terms of the purchase, upon entering into a software License Agreement with our company. Mr. Kinder opted for twenty-four (24) monthly payments, as opposed to paying for the entire two-year license up front.

The crux of this issue is that, for whatever reason, Mr. Kinder later chose not to use our Virtual Office software.  According to our records, our coaching staff attempted to contact Mr. Kinder and his various representatives on 39 separate occasions to help them set up an online advertising campaign and activate the Pipeline-i software.  However, Mr. Kinder continually missed appointments and ignored our calls and emails.

On June 9 (over two months after the original purchase), Mr. Kinder's assistant sent us an email indicating that Mr. Kinder  wished to cancel his contract.  However, rather than exercising his early cancellation option, Mr. Kinder put a stop payment on his credit card and began making threats and demanding that we terminate his license immediately or else he would spread negative reviews of our company online.  Unfortunately, although we regret that Mr. Kinder did not receive any real benefit from our software, ultimately that's because he chose not to use it, despite our efforts to help him.

We respect that it is Ripoff Report's policy not to remove any report, even when it turns out to be false.  So thank you for reading both sides of the story.
