Matthew Sunderland is at it again.  His new system is promoting a Val Smythe product called UTS (Ultimate Training Secrets).

About a year ago around November of 2010 Matt Sunderland sent out an email to his email list promoting a unique postcard recruiting system.  He called it "Monthly Marketing With Matt" and his spiel was, "make money by Christmas".  Part of this system was a $37 per month monthly subscription to his monthly newsletter that was supposed to be delivered to your door every month revealing different techniques, strategies, and tips on marketing, business, and success.  So you join for the $37 per month and you get to use his marketing system.

I bought into this trap because of his postcard system that I got excited about.  I joined in mid-late November 2010 and of course I understood that in order to use his postcard method it will come at an additional cost for the postcard mailings.  The first month I paid $700 for the first mailing hoping I would make some additional cash for the Holidays.

I received the first issue of the newsletter and received 2 additional issues, one of which combined two months because it came late, up until February 2011.

I emailed Matt Sunderland multiple times (still have all records of my emails with Matt) about my $700 postcard mailing and the newsletter issues that I stopped receiving.  There were always excuses and I continued to give Matthew Sunderland the benefit of the doubt.  Finally in the month of August I demanded a refund of 5 payments of $37 of which I never received anything, and the $700 for the mailing that was never sent out.  Matthew Sunderland promptly refunded me 4 payments of $37 and said that he was working on a new system and he would send out a mailing for me once it was ready.

For the next two months I was re-billed $37 and again I emailed him in which he finally closed my account and did refund the 2 $37 payments.  I never asked for the one payment of $37 that he missed the first time because it was just a hassle.

Now Matt Sunderland is promoting his new system along with UTS (Ultimate Training Secrets).  I emailed him about it and he said he would send out a postcard mailing if I joined him which would cost me $299 of which he pockets $245 based on the UTS pay out structure for its affiliates. 

This time I said no way.  This is going to be a repeat of last year.  I don't think I'll ever see that $700 that I worked my butt off for at my J-O-B ever again while Matthew Sunderland just sits at his home over promising and banking easy money from suckers like me.

I have nothing against Val Smythe or his UTS product, but when dealing with Matthew Sunderland please use caution and try to stay away.  He will lure you with an awesome marketing system and just take your money.

May name is also Matthew Sunderland and I have a solid reputation of excellence and ethical service in the computer and IT business in California. If you found this report of a rip off realize that this Matthew Sunderland has nothing to do with the matthew Sunderland in IT in Southern California.

Sucks having the same name as a con man!!!

I have spoken with Matthew Sunderland over the phone and everything has been sorted out and resolved.  There was a bit of a misunderstanding on my part through the communications I've had with him in the past which was all through email.  After taking the time to actually speak with him over the phone I realized that the problem was really a lack of communication and understanding between both parties.

The report I have written was harsh and defamatory.  In hindsight I should have given Matt a call sooner (he does answer).   In all honesty I was a bit frustrated and not at all in the greatest of moods at the time I decided to write this report and took it all out on this specific issue.

I appreciate Matt Sunderland for taking the time to sort things out with me and helping me become aware of where I was at fault.

In no way shape or form was any money stolen.

Everything that is paid for, be it a service or product is 100% documented and tracked.  My bookkeeper is very good with
keeping records of each customer purchase.

I'm not sure where the disconnect is but I do want to fix it asap.
