I bought a website and software on flippa.com from matthew brown. It is an auction site where you buy domains or fully developed websites. These are his flippa.com usernames:

The product he claimed in the auction and the product he sold were COMPLETELY different things. We did the escrow and I found out that the software/site that I bought was not only copyrighted-but it was SEVERELY messed up. The site was worth less than a third of what I bought it for. Not to mention he promised mobile apps, and a good amount of support hours. I never received any of those. He blamed this all on his friend who helped him with the programming. I called his friend and found out that Matt still owes him $4500 for previous projects. This guy also scammed other users on flippa.com, his scams totaling almost $20,000.
This guy NEEDS to be taken down and I have already talked to a lawyer about this once, I just dont have the money to hire one. He stole thousands from me and others, I want to file a lawsuit against him. Furthermore, I want everyone on the internet to know this so they can stay away and make the same mistake I did.

I have begged and begged for this guy to give me my money back, but he has refused. I told him that I really needed the money back and Im going through a tough financial situation right now. He doesnt care. This is really the biggest scumbag I have ever met. If you are reading this, please DO NOT do business with him in anyways. Do not buy anything from him, do not hire him for any job. He will scam you and will throw you in the wind to rot, without a care in the world.

This is my formal and official retraction of all the statements said above. The situation between me and matt was a huge misunderstanding and it's been completely solved. I have no malice towards him. Regarding matt, there should be nothing to be concerned about. He is not a scumbag, and hes clear in my books.
The statement about Shotly was purely opinion, the name calling and insults were purely opinion. The whole situation was a huge misunderstanding. World ventures was also NOT involved with the situation in any way. They are a reputable company and would never be involved in such things. This is my sincere and formal apology to them and matt as well. No malice was intended in the posting of these comments. Consider this matter officially closed, there is absolutely nothing to worry about regarding Matt.
Some statements were also of my own personal opinion and were not meant as fact. The statement about shotly was opinion. The word "scumbag" was used as an opinion.
The phrase:
"If you are reading this, please DO NOT do business with him in anyways. Do not buy anything from him, do not hire him for any job. He will scam you ...etc. This statement was not malicious in any ways either. It was just meant as a public warning, and not to hinder his economic or personal well being at all.
The intention for the post was not malicious or to cause harm, it was to get the attention of a legal
professional to help remedy the situation.
My intent was not to cause his reputation or his professional/economic well-being any harm.
I also didnt mean to cause world ventures any harm at all, this situation also had nothing to do
with them either. They are a reputable company and dont deserve something like this. I apologize for any negative publicity this may have cause them.
If you are reading this ripoff report, please ignore and disregard this post completely. Consider this matter officially closed and there should be nothing to be concerned about regarding matt, thank you.
