I contacted Maureen Hobbs to look for an apartment to relocate to on downtown San Diego. She was extremely short with me, very rude and when I told her I needed the right price for a place, she claimed that she regrets dealing with customers like me. She told me this through a story about a recent customer that made an offer for a rental apartment (a reasonable one I thought) and said that she regrets even wasting her time showing it.

She made me feel like I didn't matter and made it sound like she had better things to be doing with her time than wasting it with me. BTW, I own several business, have a significant personal net worth and A+ credit so I can only imagine what less than stellar prospective tenants would go through. Beware of this agent, stay far away from her or any business that would employ her. In this real estate market, there are plenty of agents that will be happy to meet your needs and make the process of finding a new home a pleasurable one.

My name is Maureen Hobbs and unfortunetly every time someone googles me this comes up. Every sentence he wrote is a lie! This complaint was completly false!

I have the 3 short very short e-mails from this person that contacted me regarding a property I had on Craigslist.

When my broker contacted him with this information and cautioned him he slandered my name with false information he deleted all complaints from every website except this one does not remove complaints under the first amendment.

He states it was a, "misunderstanding". It was far from a misunderstanding. I have proof it was all a lie and maybe he was having a bad day and took it out on me.  Why is it not removed?

I have placed so many people in rentals downtown and I have a perfect reputation but this one person posted a completley and totally false story but it stays on here.

Trust me if I did and said all those things then I would have deserved a complaint.

Does anyone know what I should do. This is horrible!

The owner of this company has responded to me promptly and kindly and cleared up any misunderstanding there
might have been. A+ for effort and an example of the grassroots type of corporate leadership that so many companies in today's marketplace clearly lack. I am satisfied with the service I have received from this company and subsequently have asked the site's moderator to remove my prior complaint.
