Max My Speed ripped me off. My computer was running slow and after seeing a TV commercial that claimed it would fix my problems I took to scam and bought the service. It didn't fix anything. Next I did Google search and learned many others bought the service, got nothing fixed, then told they had malware and needed to pay a technician a few hundred dollars to fix it. It happened to me exactly as everyone else described.
www.maxmyspeed.com is a total scam. I mistakenly feel for a TV commercial scam and trusted these people (tv has a way of making us think it legit).
Beware - I'd be surprised if this is not the experience everyone goes through. It did not "max my speed" or fix and computer problems.
