Complaint Review: Mcrae Arcand Foote And Associates - Edmonton Alberta

Let me say first thing that the best place to go to to file a complaint is not the BBB but instead the Alberta Consumer Services their phone number is 1-877-427-4088. If you do not live in Alberta they will forward your complaint IMMEDIATELY to the proper province. I have done this and the very next morning I received an email form the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority of British Columbia. They informed that McRae Arcand and Foote is already under investigation and they do not have a license to do what they are doing. These are the people that actually issue the licenses for B.C. and they have (obviously) the connections to find out if they have a license in Alberta. McRae Arcand and Foote are operating without a license and therefore if anyone has any dealings with these people and you live in B.C. You are encourage to contact Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority of British Columbia at 1-888-564-0063. I am in constant contact with them now and they asked me to put this information on this website. They want to get to the bottom of this too. Also FYI: In This website, Rip Off Report.com, one of the complainants mentioned that Cutter changed their name to First Commercial. Apparently the reason why, is because Cutter did not have a license and would not comply with regulations to get one. Cutter was shut down by because of this, so they simply sold to First Commercial who also do not have a license, and so on and on it goes!!

I have been in touch with the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority of British Columbia, via the Alberta Government Consumer Services Branch, I emailed Alberta on Sunday the 3rd, on Monday the 4th I had an email in my inbox at 8:12 am!!!!! This message was from the B.C. Company. This tells me they are very interested in McRae Arcand and Foote. They gave me permission to put their phone number up on this website for anyone else that wants to contact them about what is happening to them at the hands of McRae Arcand and Foote. The phone number is 1-888-564-9963. They are investigating this supposed Collection Company, according to them McRae is operating without the proper licenses. So please if you have any information that will help stop these people from doing what they are doing call this number. If you are in Alberta you can call 1-877-427-4088

To the employee that has posted the rebuttal. Why if they are so legitimate do they not return phone calls and when you do get to talk to some one they have nothing helpful to say. I have requested some form of proof that I owe money but....nothing. And also ANY collection agency would be very happy to hear from any one that owes money. Also what about the guy on this site that says they said they would send him his money back??? Do you really think that he will get it??
