San Antonio Texas location- DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

Recently purchased furniture from Mega Furniture, Plaza Del Norte Location, San Antonio Texas.

1. Only half of my pieces were delivered initially, told there was a mistake on the invoice. (I could let this go, people make mistakes)

2. Was told the missing pieces would be delivered 3 days later. After waiting 30 minutes after the time that 2 employees confirmed with me, called warehouse to discover they were not delivering the furniture that day at all, but would be 2 days later.

3. Called and asked to speak with a manager the following day. Was told he was with a customer and would call me back in a few minutes. Then received a phone call from the same person stating he had left for the day. (Unbelievable). Then proceeded to tell me that my furniture would not be delivered for another week and a half because they did not want me to get the FLOOR MODEL. Was never told I was getting the floor model and WAS STILL GOING TO BE CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR IT. She said they wanted me to be a "satisfied customer" and acted like they were doing me a favor for providing me with what I paid for. I didn't believe the manager left for the day, so drove to the store (I work up the street) to speak with a manager in person. SURPRISE! THE MANAGER WAS THERE. Obviously told the person I spoke with to say he left for the day. I proceeded to tell him all of the mistakes his company had made and how I was the one following up to make it right. Nodded his head and said "ok" several times as if he didn't understand how awful a customer service experience this was and how he was trying to rip me off with "floor model" furniture. Then proceeded to blame his salesperson (refer to #1 above) for putting the wrong part number on invoice and when I asked him why he wouldn’t call me back that day after the person I spoke to said he was with a customer and he obviously didn’t go home for the day, had the nerve to tell me that " he should have called me back and it wasn't my fault that he didn't call me back because he had work to do in the back" HA.

4. Agreed to give me back my $100 delivery fee or store credit. (Took the $100 fee, store credit?? are you joking??!! I will never come back here or recommend to anyone)

5. Manager emailed to say that the $100 credit was applied. I responded to this email and asked for the general managers phone number. Was given the phone number to the distribution center. Ok, maybe he has an office there. Called finance company after receiving bill and $100 had not been refunded. Received the bill over 1 week later. Called the phone number provided for the general manager. Was told by the person at the distribution center that he does not office out of that location and travels to different states. Asked for his name and she said it was "steve". Asked for his last name and she said she did not know it! really? Asked how she gets in contact with him and said his cell phone number, but could not give that out. Said she would tell him when he gets in that I called. But wait.... he travels all over the country and is rarely in? So which one is it?

Finally got the pieces I was missing 1 month after placing my order. Delivery guy told me "steve" does office out of the distribution center and is there every day. Shocker! Delivery guy forgot power cord for the piece he just delivered. He did contact warehouse to let them know he forgot it, but told me to call them to make sure it got to me in the next few hours , instead of waiting 8 hours.

Received a voicemail from the security company that patrols the parking lot where the store is located. Said they received a fax of a receipt for the items my wife and I purchased and we could pick it up from them. Went to the store to ask about this. Why would they have a fax with our information on it? Told by the owner, manager and employee at the store they would follow up with the security company. Owner showed me his fax records and then started to look up these numbers. Then got a phone call, walked away from the desk and motioned to me that I could do the research on the fax numbers that his company faxed! Terrible customer service from every person I interacted with.

I have never written a review before. It took the worst customer service experience of my life to post this. Hopefully to help others not have the same experience. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and would never treat someone this way. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. WISH I HAD READ OTHER REVIEWS FIRST.
