I started out hopeful of MegaGoods.com. I sold 8 cellphones at first on eBay and put in the orders for 4 to start off as a test. My Paypal Debit card was charged for the orders and everything seemed fine.

They then sent me an email stating I needed to fax them a copy of my credit card (back and front) and my drivers license. I did so at Kinkos at a cost of $11 to me.

2 week goes by and then my payments were returned to my Paypal account. The allotted authorization time had expired and the funds were released back into my account.

I emailed MegaGoods asking why my money was returned to me... No responses what so ever!

At this time I am pissed and my eBay customers are pissed. It's been over 2 and a half weeks with no word. I had to refund the money for the auctions back to my customers.

I send MegaGoods an email asking them to cancel my orders and that we would start over when they figured out their problems.

Another week goes by and after 4 more emails I finally get an email back saying they haven't received my authorization faxes yet.

I replied to them in a kind of threatening way for losing copies of my credit card and drivers license for anyone to be able to steal. Still no response from them.

2 days later I get an email from Fedex informing me that they received shipping orders from MegaGoods that morning.

They were shipping out the orders the next morning for invoices that I had requested them to CANCEL!!!

So I send them emails to 3 different Megagood accounts with the subject "EMERGENCY ORDER CANCEL" and stated that they needed to cancel those orders fast before they shipped out the next morning. I then call their 1800 number and leave a voicemail just to be on the safe side... I stating the same thing.. emergency, cancel those orders, I've already given refunds to these people.

No return call, no return emails, no nothing!!!

But I figured it was ok... this is on them, my money was returned back to my Paypal account (the same funds I then turned around and refunded to my eBay customers). Just to be safe, I cancelled my Paypal Debit card and ordered a new one.

WRONG... Today I log into Paypal to find that MegaGoods put all three charges through, leaving my account in the major negative. I am still unsure how they managed to charge a cancelled debit card for the funds.

I get stupid messages on the 1800 lines voicemail, I send emails that seem to not get answered.

I am watching the tracking site for FedEx and thank god, one of the shipments is being returned, customer refused it.

One of other shipments states that delivery has been rescheduled for the following week.

The last order is still on its way. The customer emailed and said he still wanted the phone and would pay for it. So far he hasn't.

I emailed MegaGoods and told them that they must cancel those fedex deliveries and return my stolen money to me.

So far.. nothing. NO email, NO phone call... nothing!

I just filled a complaint report with the Better Business Bureau of which they are a member of. Hopefully they can fix this situation for me.

So my suggestion to you is... finish all your membership forms, fax in your authorization forms and call to make sure they received them and that you are cleared for ordering.

Then order your items and hope to god you never ever have to email or call them about anything. Because they ain't there to answer!

The customer service supervisor is Victoria K,, I got this info from the Better Business Bureau suggesting that I try and contact them again before filling a complaint report with them.

Anyone have her email address? [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] don't work.

StoreB2B.com powered by Megagoods, Inc. LOL!

"StoreB2B is a technologically advanced innovation in online store solution technology. Powered by MegaGoods, Inc., leading wholesale electronics dropshipper/supplier, Store B2B is able to provide a truly Unique opportunity to our members. "

I have no experience with any of these companies.  I am thinking of trying ecommerce and am looking for reliable dropshippers upon which I can build a business.  From what I see so far, it appears this one company is like an octopus, with arms and tentacles going everywhere.  Three different company names I've seen for the same outfit.  That alone doesn't lend them much credibility.

Great!  Now I have SOMETHING ELSE to research about any dropshipper before I engage them!  I have to find out if they are related to the Megaclowns!  LOL

MEGAGOODS.COM & STOREB2B.COM "NOT RIP-OFF COMPANIES"

I am not an employee of the company, but I do use both of these sister companies for dropshipping purposes. Megagoods.com is initially for peopel who own a website or hold auctions online with a vendor like ebay.com. However, like all people, ALL companies have their occasional pet peves and miscommunications. Megagoods.com is better for someone who is in constant contact with their website and email accounts and is very persistent with follow up with their vendors. This company can be a good relationship if yu learn the ropes up front and make sure that you have all the required info faxed in and ready to go prior to initiating your first deal. A good alternative to megagoods.com that may benefit you if you're concerned with ebay.com negative feedback and customer refunds, is their sister company storeb2b.com. I have personally been a member of this site since 2007 and my relationship has worked out great. Rather that having to place orders yourself and keep track of inventory and payments, this site gives you a website that you chose the name of, they stock your website with all of their inventory and transfer it to your web address to sell. But be careful, when it transfers over the price that everything lists for is only 10% higher that the wholesale price that you get. So, the only thing you do to strt making money is go though each inventoryitem and change the price to what you want to sell it for. This company is still a dropshipper, exept you never have to place an order. All you do is maintain your website, prices and appearance (templates, etc.) and the customers wo purchase from you buy the item at the price you list it for. The customer pays shipping but yo don't, it's not consideredin your member price, so that's extra money you make. The company then ads a commission to your account and whenever you have at least $25.00 available, you can request a commission check that takes 3-5 days to get, kinda like a payroll check but without the taxes taken out. The pros of working with storeb2b rather than megagoods: 1. You don't have to pocess any orders yourself, the company does it all for you. 2. You make moneyfrm everysale, and because you chose the sale price, you chose your commissions. 3. You only have to make a small investment, $30.00a month to keep your website up and running, that's less than a dollar a day. think about it. If yur member price for a Playsation 3 is 349.99 and you then mark the price up to 459.99, when a customer buys that console, you make the difference and thatone purchase pays for your invenstment. If you can sell 3-5 items month averaging at last 20-40 commission each, then you should be able to easily make your investment back each month. Example: Your member price for New Apple Ipod: 449.95 Mark up: 479.99=30.00 Your member price for XBox 360 famly pk 7 games 329.99 mark up:419.99=90.00 Member price fo electronic 159.99 sells on ebay easily for 189.99=30.00 profit If you can make 20-50 per sell on your website from mark ups that are fairly close to your competitors,Walmart, Target, ebay, Best Buy, that yu can make a substantial income without having to place orders, process refunds or take care of customer complaints. The 3 purchases above alone =150.00, well over monthly fee. So you make your investment back monthly even if you sell only 1-3 thing a month, c'mon that can't be that hard. Cons of working with storeb2b.com: (only 2 and not tat bad) 1. Your commissions are paid out after 37 days (let me explain) The commission is released into their database 7 days after the sale settles with the cutomers credit car company. The customer then gets 30 days to return the merchandise to the vendor to receive a refund or exchange(this is all handled by storeb2b, you never have to handlea customer) This may seem like a bummer, yet it's just an insurance policy to your website, understand that if the purchase goes through successfully then in 7 days that commission is credited. And to make sure that you don't have to give up money for possible fraudulent purchases or the infamous chargebacks, or refunds, the cutomer is given that 30 day period. So you see, after the7 days, the customer has the merchandise and the charge has been authenticated by the cardholder agreement to their credit card company, they then have that 30 days to decide if they want to keep their product, if they decide they want a refund or make a return, then that money will be deducted from the commission account and you don't have to worry about having a zero balance and owing money to the company, it would be just as if the purchase was never made. If fter that 37 days the customer does not refund, then that money is your, scott-free and you never have to worry about giving and money up(exept your monthly membership price 30.00) 2. You have to wait that initial 37 days to recieve first commission payout eligibility, however,if you pay 30.00 on May 1st and you make sales at least every week than after your first 37 days, you could end up getting a commission check every other day or weekly Example: May 1st sales=20.00 Payout eligible by June 7 May 2nd sales=30.0 Payout eligible by June 8 May 5th sales=25.00 Payout elgible by June 11 And so onad so forth, it's not like it's every 37 days, so if you make a sale at least every day or two, you should be able to request a check every week like I do. So basically, you pay 30.00 monthly to sit back and monitor your earnings, while not having to deal with customers, refunds, chargebacks, exchages, complaints or place orders and pay with your credit card to have things shipping. You don't place the orders, the website they give you is totally automated and storeb2b does all the order processing. So once you start the enrollment, your website is usually running ithin 2 days and all you have to do(as with any new website) is promote your sales. You can do this by adding your website name to all the search engines for a very small fee, like google, yahoo, search, aol, etc. After that is done you make have to wait about a month or so to see the steady sales and watch you business clientele rise. You'll know when you're getting alot of customers when you're making alot of sales. Small hint: always mark your prics close to the competitors at first and email people to letthem know how good your deals are. Once people kno that your pries can't be beat and are even better that ebay or walmart, people will talk and it gets around fast on chat rooms and blogs believe me, that's where I started my promotion. Again, I don't work for storeb2b.com but I am a client and I have been doing successful businees with them for almost 2 year now. I have quit my job as of December 2007, I am a mother of 3 with bills and a car note andI like brand name things, I mae plenty of money from this alone and I have aved up enough now to go into business fo myself with other websites. Thi is not a gimmick or rip off comapny and they have helped me be abe to stay at home while m husband works part time so that we can spend family time together. I know that most money makers wouldn't tell you their secrets to success, but my website is established and tellin everyone about this opportunity would not take away from my business, someone told me about it and it's thebest 30.00 a month investment I've ever made. If you don't believe me or think that I'm a joke you can email me or try out the website, you can view all the products they sell(which i the same as megagoods.com) and your first 7 days are free, who knows, you might make a sell before you ever have to pay. .
