COMPLAINT # 280330 TO THE CONSUMER ON REPORT 280330 YOU NEED TO FILE A FORMAL REPORT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET THIS RESOLVED. (800) 352-8431 OR (602) 542-2127 TO SET AN APPOINTMENT UP FOR THE YUMA LOCATION. OFFICE HOURS FOR YUMA ARE M-W-F 9-1PM WHEN YOU ARE ASKED WHAT IT WILL TAKE YOU TO CLAIM YOU ARE SATISFIED: REQUEST YOUR TRADE BACK. IF YOUR CAR HAS BEEN SOLD ASK THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TO LOOK AT THE CONTRACT THE DEALERSHIP HAS ON THEIR RECORDS TO SEE IF YOUR TRADE IS ACTUALLY ON THE CONTRACT. IF IT IS NOT ON YOUR CONTRACT ASK THEM WHY NOT. YOU ARE CORRECT THAT DEALERSHIPS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL A CUSTOMER'S TRADE PRIOR TO FINANCING. ASK WHY THEY SOLD YOUR TRADE BEFORE THEY OBTAINED FINANCING FOR YOU. YOU ARE CORRECT IN STATING IN YOUR COMPLAINT THAT THIS IS ILLEGAL. YOU NEED TO REQUEST MONEY FROM THE DEALERSHIP THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO RE-PURCHASE A CAR SIMILAR TO YOUR TRADE-IN. REQUEST ALL OF YOUR DOWN PAYMENT MONEY BACK. REQUEST A LETTER FROM THE DEALERSHIP STATING IT WAS THEIR FAULT THAT YOUR TRADE WASN'T PAID OFF AND REQUEST THAT YOUR CREDIT BE RESTORED DURING THAT TIME PERIOD. DO NOT TRY TO DO ANY OF THIS ON YOUR OWN. YOU NEED TO UTILIZE THE STATE OF ARIZONA TO HELP YOU, AND THEY WILL. DO NOT CORRESPOND DIRECTLY WITH THE DEALERSHIP AFTER YOU FILE YOUR COMPLAINT. DO NOT BE FOOLED IF THEY PRETEND TO BE AGREEABLE AND WANT TO DEAL DIRECTLY WITH YOU. DO NOT DO IT! THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE WILL BE YOUR POINT OF CONTACT IF YOU REQUEST THEM TO. KEEP GOOD WRITTEN RECORDS OF EVERYTHING THAT GOES ON. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THAT CALLS YOU FROM THE DEALERSHIP. IF THEY WERE GOING TO HELP YOU THEY WOULD HAVE DONE IT LONG BEFORE YOU WROTE THIS COMPLAINT. IF THEY CALL YOU NOW IT IS A TRICK. DO NOT SIGN ANY 'RELEASE' THAT THE DEALERSHIP TELLS YOU TO SIGN. CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IF YOU ARE TOLD YOU NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE SITUATION. SINCE I HAVE HELPED YOU, YOU WILL LET ME KNOW HOW THINGS GO FOR YOU ON THIS. YOU WILL RESPOND THROUGH THIS WEBSITE ABOUT THE ACTIONS YOU TOOK TO RESOLVE THIS. THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU. FOLLOW MY ADVICE AND YOU WILL BE THE WINNER.
