In a previous post, I posted about my experience from hell with Melaleuca.

I forgot to mention that the rep named Rhonda from MomsWin (a Melaleuca distributor)told me during our initial "sign me up" phone call that John Travolta and his actress wife Kelly Preston are endorsers of Melaleuca! Well, I did some research and you know what? There is no mention of the Travoltas endorsing Melaleuca! She told me a story about the Travoltas son, Jett. Supposedly, he has autism and the autism was caused by "toxic products". Well, the Travoltas ARE mentioned on a website devoted to marketing non toxic products, BUT...There is no mention of Melaleuca! Isn't it ILLEGAL to do that? Has anyone else heard of this? I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the reports and I think that it DOES need to be investigated! I mean really! How Tacky! And how disrespectful to John Travolta!

I jokingly asked her "So if I were to go to a big convention, would he be there?" She laughed and said "Gee, he might. You never know!" Well, how do they get off by doing things like that! And how can they be "professional" and "respectful" by lying and misrepresention?

What a joke! These distributors and marketing executives, directors or whatever they call themselves should be ashamed!

I just came across this topic on Google - and have a comment to make. While John Travolta may not be an OFFICIAL endorsee of Melaleuca, he and his wife do use the products. He mentioned Melaleuca by name on the Rosie O'Donnell show back when it was still on the air.

Just because one person lies, doesn't mean the company does!

I am sorry that you were lied to. It is unfortunate and unnacceptable. That said, just because this woman lied to you, doesn't mean the company itself is responsible. Melaleuca's president and CEO highly encourages honesty. He would be saddened to know one of his representatives lied to you. That is not what Melaleuca stands for. I wonder too if this woman even knew she was lying to you. Is it possible that she heard something from someone and passed it on without researching whether or not it was true. I think many people are guilty of this. I am sorry you had a bad experience and I agree that it is degrading to John Travolta and his wife to be falsely represented. I wish you had been approached by someone with more integrity. This really is a wonderful company with some wonderful people. Unfortunately there are bad apples in every bunch. Sincerely,
