Menards special order did not arrive as stated in contract Morris Illinois
August 8, made order for common home water heater at Menards.
Contract made and item payed for, delivery date to be in 14 days,
I have checked computer several times and nothing has occured except order received info.
I would think that a company that deals with such a large amount of water heaters that they would have my common type in stock or at least in a nearby warehouse.
My order was for a common 40 gallon electric water heater, model 12EM40-2, listed as special order.
I purchased the heater for a house that I am selling the end of the month, now I need the heater to complete the sale of this house, that is in 4 days. I checked the store again today, managers told me it was still in distribution center, should be here in a couple days.
No explination given for the delay.
I bellieve they should honor there contract or at least let customers know about delays.
