In January 07, I brought my car to the Chevrolet Dealership in Jackson TN for service. I presented them with my MEPCO Insurance warranty card. My dealership called me later that day to inform me that the company had redirected all calls to the South Carolina Insurance Division secondary to bad practices and all customer claims were on hold.

When I had called the numbers for the South Carolina Insurance Division they informed me that the company was in "HOT WATER", they were not the agency to call nor did they have any numbers for customer service. They also informed me that MEPCO's accounts were frozen as of December 07.

I checked my bank account only to find they had been making drafts on my bank account after December and into January. I attempted to reach a customer representative on several numbers listed in the warranty package only to be redirected back to the South Carolina Group.

At no time did the company attempt to contact me to inform me of their status, continued to make withdrawls to a tune of over $2,200. And at this time there is no customer service number to contact. Needless to say I am out of pocket for the service on my car for over $1,000 and the loss of monies taken by MEPCO.

As a working single mother trying to do the responsible thing. This kind of loss of money has been overwhelming.
