Mercantile Adjustment Bureau Draining My Bank Account Rochester New York
My mother received legal documents stating that if she did not pay our Dillards Collection acct. in full, Mercantile would put a lien on her house. Also if the acct. was not paid by the 30th of Sept. 2007 she would be charged an additional 6,500 in attorney fees.This was my bill, so I called John Campfield or Campbell the collector, to make some kind of arrangement, He stated I had to come up with 1034.31 A.S.A.P. I informed him I would be able to this on the 5th of Oct. We agreed, Well on the 2nd he send the pymt. thru. I was charged 35.oo returned fee and 32.oo NSF fee. I called him and informed what happened, He stated it was my banks fault. So we tried it again, It was late in the evening and I informed him I would be at the bank first thing in the morning, He again agreed, I went to my bank in the A.M. and he submitted the pymt. thru when I got off the phone with him the previous night. So here ago again w/ 67.oo in fees. I have yet to pay this bill. I don't know what to do.I think Im going to sent a Moneygram in the amount of 932.31. that is minus the 134.oo in fees. HELP PLEASE
