Mercantile Adjustment Bureau Calling my house every day looking for someone else! Rochester New York
This company has been calling my house every day for the past 4 days. 3 of the 4 times, they left a message saying that they needed to talk about "an important business matter that is time sensitive" or "requires immediate attention". The one time I picked up on the call to find out what the heck was going on, it was an automated message like the other three--not a live person.
Unfortunately, my problem is this: I have no idea who these people are! Apparently, they don't know who they're looking for either, because two times they asked for "Mr. Houseman", and this latest time, they asked for someone sounding like "Mr. Corda" or "Mr. Gorda". They always tell me to call 1-877-230-8414 "immediately".
Here's the kicker--the last time they called was today (Sunday)--yet, when I called the number RIGHT BACK, the auto message says they're only open Mon--Sat. So...who's calling me, and why?!? I'm not "Mr. Houseman" OR "Mr. Corda", or anything even close to either one, and since I've lived at this address and phone number for 10 years, I know no one by either of those names lives here or ever has lived here.
