Greetings Gary, On 8/28/05 I posted some information on this site you may find useful. You will need to respond in writing to MCG (Ken Hughes). I listed a website that should help with the letter you will need to write. The Staute of Limitations (SoL) has expired, legally they have no way of getting any $ out of you. But, you will need to dispute this debt (in writting) and it must be sent Certfied with a return receipt requested. If you do not respond, as your letter states, they will consider the debt valid. The SoL will be thrown out the window and start all over again. Do not acknowledge the debt, dispute it. Good luck,
Greg

A debt that old -- even if real -- is long past the statute of limitations, and can't legally be collected on. I'd call and explain this to them. If they refuse to stop, your best bet is probably to send them a certified letter asking that they cease and decist from attempting to contact you.
