I was shocked to come across this as i looked for some information on google regarding metparties. I have known Val for around 6/7 years since he first started promoting nightclubs and started off as many of us have done as a "Sub-Promoter". Val has worked very hard to build a strong and respected company in a very competitive industry. I have worked at several venues with Metparties over the past few years and with both Val, Emily and the rest of the team and find them professional and fair. I have ofen referred good promoters to them as i work in a different field and have never had a single complaint about pay and never have we personally had any problems when it has come to being paid for any work we have done. I think the basis of the complaint above is seriously false. I'm not aware of this person ever working at Metparties office as stated and feel this may be some sad competitor who has lost a contract or feels hard done by. I think this is the lowest of the low to go to such extraordinary lengths to effect someones reputation and would not be suprised if some kind of legal action is taken against the person who uses slander to damage one of london's biggest nightclub events companies. I have never gotten to know Val or any of the other team personally but they have always been professional and courteous. They have worked their way up from a small guestlist company and have become one of londons best nightclub promoters, which they would not achieve if they where ripping clubs and staff off. I have worked with several different companies and any dealing I have had with Metparties has always been honest and open. You should feel free to deal with them in confidence and in the knowledge that they are open and helpful. Ignore this anonymous complaint. Surely the fact its anonymous says it all!!
