METRO PCS was unprofessional, not helpful, lacked complete information to provide to me as a consumer and operates like contract phone companies. North Las Vegas, Nevada
Metro PCS operates just like a contract cell phone. Even though they say youprepay for services, you also have to pay for past disconnected services as well. Unless you get the right associate that explains that to you and if only we were lucky enough to get such professionalism. I opened a new account so that I could purchase a new $400 phone. They wouldn't sell the phone to me as a prior valued customer. I was told that as long as I paid for the services within 30 days, I wouldn't lose my old cell phone number and that I could transfer that number to my new cell phone. Well they don't explain to you that unless you disconnect the line, you are paying for disconnected services. Ummmm that sounds like a contract phone to me. And now since there is no Consumer Protection Agency to help us with such business practices in Nevada, we consumers are left to fend for ourselves. I imagine that if Metro PCS continues to treat their customers this way despite what they say they will do for their customers, it's only a matter of time before they go out of business like every other greedy business out there.
