DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE BANDIT MOVERS OF THE WORST KIND - Do not let these people tell you that the complaints on the internet are with another moving company and that they just purchased this company and are the new owners. I fell for this line. They are rude and obnoxious. I entered into a written agreement with this company 2 weeks prior to the move which sets out all of the terms of my move.

Once they have the had the truck 1/2 filled, they advised me that the move would require 3 people at a billing rate of $80.00 or it was going to take a very long time to move me at more hours. They held my household items hostage until I agreed to the 3rd mover. I agreed to the three people, but they were unable to get a third mover to my house, so the move had to be done with 2 people. It took them 16 hours to move my 1 bedroom apartment from one city to the next (12 miles distance).

I have moved several times and all my moves were done in no more than 5 hours - they never took 16 hours. The final bill was 1 thousand dollars (I never paid more than $700 for a move in the past). They also broke items of which I am having trouble getting them to reimburse me for. When I telephone them, they yell at me and tell me it is my fault because I had too much stuff to move. Not true, again this is a 1 bedroom apartment - and all previous moves only took 4-5 hours. This is a rip off moving company. They should not be allowed to do business in this manner.

I agree...the price sounds high. We moved 100 miles last year...a three-bedroom house with basement. Three men over the course of two days. Picked up on day one, delivered the next day. Ours was only $2K (not the same company) . However, I have to ask: Did you have a signed contract with them? Did they do a walk-through prior to giving you an estimate? Did you even GET an estimate? I'm just asking these questions, because the answers will (possibly) shed an entirely different light on things.
