June 2011 I was looking to purchase 10 off the road mining tires (OTR) from a company in Houston TX.  I had wired the money to this company but several days later the owner informed me that he was not going to be able to secure the tires I had ordered from him.  However, he said he know someone in Mississippi that had these tires and provided me with Anthony Ben Mami’s e-mail address and phone number.  I, e-mailed Mr. Ben Mami asking him if he had the tires I was looking for?  He replied that he did, and said he could deliver the tires within 15 days of receiving payment in full from me. 

I wired him the full quoted price of $175,000 on June 24, 2011.  He told me a trucking company would deliver these tires on Saturday August 13, 2011.  I was at my place of business all day waiting for the tires to arrive however, no tires arrived, and no one contacted me to let me know that no delivery would be made.  I tried to get a hold of Mr. Ben Mami late that same afternoon but all I got was his voice mail.  I left him several messages and sent him a few e-mails, but did not hear back from him until several days later

at which time he claimed that the trucking company did show up at my place of business to make delivery but that they did not find anyone at my place of business so they had to drive back with the tires.  I asked him to provide me with the name of the trucking company so that I can confirm that they attempted to make delivery, but he never provided me with the name of the trucking company and he did not provide me with any documentation that proved he hired said trucking company.  Clearly this was all made up, he did not have the tires and never intended to ship them to me.

 He kept insisting that since I was not at my place of business to accept delivery as was scheduled, now I had to wait until the trucking company could schedule another delivery date to the state where I'm located and that could take some time.  This went on for several months until he left the state of Mississippi and went back to his country of Tunisia in September 2011.  

 He did offer to return the $175,000 but not until I accepted his terms which were outrageous.

He insisted on a 15% cancelation fee or $26,250.00usd and the remaining $148,750.00usd he would return at the rate of $10,000.00usd per month with the 1st installment 30 days after I accepted his terms.  Naturally, I refused, I was not about to give away more than $26,000.00usd to a crook who could never prove to me that he ever had the tires much less hired a trucking company to make delivery.  Then he expected me to trust him to keep his promise to send the 1st payment 30 days later.  I told him his proposal is out of the question and demanded that he return my money at once.  He refused and to this day he continues to refuse to return any of my money.  He thinks he is beyond the reach of the law because he's in Tunisia and mainly deals with customers via the internet.  All I get from him are childish and insulting e-mails. 

 Stay away from Anthony Ben Mami and any of his Mezzo companies; Mezzo Groups USA, LLC.  Mezzo Motorsport, Mezzo Oliva, Mezzo Distributing, His business is ripping off companies by any means possible.
