Michael And Elizabeth Reed Through Craigslist Acted like a needy family for donations only to list donated items for sale on Craigslist Pittsfield Massachusetts
I had several items I was thinking about selling on Craigslist, but when I saw this desperate plea for the exact type if items I had I thought I would call the number and we arranged for me to drop off a van full of baby items such as a bouncer, breast pump, tons of toys, a pack and play, 3 garbage bags full of baby boy clothes and a box of shoes and hats, etc.--too many items to list here to an address of 17 Pacific st., Pittsfield MA. The point is, I,too, don't have much but I felt that God has been good to me and I wanted to help someone out knowing how blessed I am and how good it would make me feel.
When I arrived, Michael Reed came out of their modest apartment to help me unload the stuff, and he even had tears in his eyes as he thanked me. Later that night I browsed around on Craigslist and they had every single item listed for sale, along with pictures they must have gotten off the internet!!! When I reported them to Craigslist and confronted them, they continued to try selling the stuff with a tag sale!!! And Elizabeth has messed with my e-mail address so badly that I am now getting tons of junk mail that I cant spam because she signed me up for all kinds of dating sites and job opportunities. Obviously she's not looking into any of these job opportunities because working doesn't seem to be her calling. Stealing from people is more her flavor.
Stupid me. Hopefully it won't prevent me from truly helping someone in the future. Right now I have to get over the sting.
