Michigan All Pro Asphalt Paving Failed to complete satisfactory work, refuses to fix the problem and has excuses and lazy unprofessional "remedies" for our issues. Highland Michigan
We hired this company for a new asphalt driveway at our home and are very unsatisfied with the final product. The drive way we now have is very unlevel and bumpy the grade on a normal driveway is 1-2%...ours is 5%. The owners "resolution" to our extreme slope is to put additional boards under our camper tires to level it out. This is obviously not a sufficient fix.
Before 30 days had passed, our driveway cracked and sunk in a path that we drove on. Also, where we have parked our camper on the driveway (on top of plywood) there are indents where the plywood is.
The owner says that the sinking is due to the clay that is in the ground under the driveway and there is no way that he could help that. He did not mention anything about clay when he was bidding on the job, nor did he mention it after he had pulled up the previous driveway before laying the new asphalt. One way to alleviate this problem, could have been to lay sufficient aggregate down under the asphalt. The normal amount of aggregate would have been approximately 4 inches. The most we have found is 1 inch in some areas and none in others.
The owner came out to lay a patch over one of the sink areas, but is refusing to fix the slope without an additional $500.

All issues that we've had with this company have been resolved. Michigan all pro has negotiated in good faith and we are satisfied.

Michigan All Pro is not a rip off Company. We have been in Oakland County since 1989 and we have over 40 years experience in paving.
We are a reliable company. We are registered with the State of Michigan, the Better Business Bureau and Angie's List.
Michigan All Pro has been working on resolving this paticular problem with the customer and we now have come to a resolution that is satisfactory to the customer.

This company has continued to contact us in an effort to resolve our outstanding issue. They have offered to give us some of our money back and we have agreed. We are satisfied with the resolution that has been reached.

I have worked with this company in the past several times and I have been more than satisified every time. The above named company is registered with the BBB and the state of Michigan. They have been in business since 1971, and are known in Oakland county and its surrounding areas as well respected, honest business owners. They have always gone above and beyond the call of duty.
I know for a fact that they tried to work with the above individual, paid them back $900.00 hundred dollars, and even offered to resurface the driveway. They always stand behind their work and guarantee customer satisfaction. I would recommend this company to anyone.
