Microtec Support unlimited lifetime software, tec & chat support. Now after 14 months they want me to pay them 300 to re-install software palm beach Texas
I purchased Webroot Security Essential Vol 4, Malwarebytes Anti Malware, KDSSkiller, CCleaner & Cleanup software and had it installed 14 months ago. I recently had to reload my windows 7 Pro OSystem. when I called the Microtec Support they said I had to pay $300.00 as my tec support was good for a 12 month period. I replied that the statement they had me and had me print out clearly stated software for, "lifetime and 24/7 unlimited techncial support". They also gave me a 239 area code number that when I called they said they had nothing to do with Microtec Support. After calling again the local Microtec Support number I requested several time to talk to a Mr. Mike Lawson whom I had obtained and paid for the software. I never received a return call from him & when I call again the man who answered did not know the meaning of unlimited and hung up. Just another instance of a senior citizen being ripped off I guess live and learn, Apple here I come.
