It's been over a year since Ldyangle's original report was filed and isn't it ironic that I would come across her report just one day after my husband and I had his truck serviced by the very same shop. I feel compelled to tell everyone who may come across her report about our AWESOME experience with Midas in Sparks, NV.
I don't know if the problems Ldyangle describes were eliminated with her husband's management but we couldn't be more satisfied with every aspect of our recent Midas experience, from beginning to end. Andrew, the new Midas manager, provided us with quality customer service; he gave us the impression that he truly cared about us and our need for a reliable, well-running vehicle. He was very professional, extremely thorough and obviously an expert in his field....we couldn't be more satisfied AND the best part is that it didn't cost us an arm and leg.
Anyone in the Reno/Sparks area that is looking for a shop that they can count on for honesty and service excellence, as well as affordable repairs then Midas, on Prater in Sparks is where they should take their ride....I know in the future we'll never go anywhere else.
Thank you Midas, thank you Andrew and kudos to the Mallard Group!!!
P.S. A note to Ldyangle: As the wife of a (disgruntled) ex-manager who was fired, maybe you should spend your free time helping your husband work on his managerial skills....I mean, if any of what you say was actually going on while he was in charge then obviously the Mallard Group made the right decision in terminating his employment. Also, since there are no other Ripoff Reports regarding this particular shop then as FL-USA indicated in his response, after reading your report, one would have to wonder who the true crack head/tweeker really is.

I have been working at Midas for over 17 years, by Midas international and privately own. None of what you say is true. You sound as crack head yourself more than any one else. I think you need to get a J O B FL-USA

Yes it is true if you work for midas as a tech and are very unsure about a problem that has been brought to your attention you are given instruction to figure it out and get this there coolint flush machine is broke been broke for a while so if paid for a coolent flush under management orders they drained the coolent and just added more with out cleaning the residue out the same thing that would have been free if you did it in your own garage but it did not cost you $200.00 same goes for oil and transmistion so good luck

im sorry but i do not know enough about computers to edit my complaint to make it sound better if you wish to know more please email me i will give you all the info you may need along with osha irs dea atf and numerous news agencies along with my legal rep we have made aware of the issues in this company now im not saying all midas is like this but i will tell you this DO NOT GO TO ANY MIDAS IN NEVADA CALIFORNIA OR OREGON THAT IS OWNED BY THE MALLARD GROUP

now they are demanding every last peace of paper recipt that my husband has for the last 15 years to prove that he realy did pay for his tools for which the company refunds there techs for there tool because they have gotten wind that there has been a report filed with the better buisness bural for unfair work ethics in there company. way to go midas. i know dam well you dont do this with your other employees just the ones who care about the people who they take care of and that the only reason they are coming to midas is because of the few and i mean very few honest employees they have. be ready next update soon
