Midway Ford ripoff, deceptive, liars Los Angeles California
I was having problems with my car and I called Midway Ford and they said they would have to do a diagnostic test on the vehicle to find out the problem and it would cost $90.00 for that test. When I took the car in the guy told me that a diagnostic test would be $180.00. He said if they found the problem and I wanted to get the repairs done there they would cut the $180.00 fee in half (putting it back down to the price I was quoted on the phone in the first place mind you).
I left my car there over night and in the morning i got a phone call telling me that my ignition coil pack needed to be replaced and that the part was $209.31 and LABOR would be $270.00. So it would of been around $600.00 total for everything (including diagnostic test). I took the vehicle to another auto repair shop and they said they would replace it for $250.00 (including parts and labor Part $209.00 & Labor $26.97.)
Midway Ford totally tryed to rip me off with labor costs through the roof. They also told me that when checking my car they heard a noise coming from the timing belt. I got the timing belt checked someplace else and they said it was fine. Midway Ford just tried to throw some other stuff on top of the other repairs to make an extra buck. I never got the repairs done at Midway Ford because there quoted price was ridiculous.
