I hired Midway Movers to relocate me on August 3, 2015. The move was very stressful. I was harassed the entire time to initial paperwork, and the informed that I would to pay $600 more than what I was previously contracted for. The movers were very disrespectful and constantly cursing and downing each others work. The movers broke several items in my home before the move. A tall lamp was broken into, vertical blinds were destroyed and torn from a window and several items were left behind. Upon arrival to my new home, my couch, love seat and mirror to a dresser were badly damaged. A box of glassware were never taken off the truck. After filling a claim with Midway Movers, I was asked to forward pictures of damaged items. Pictures of all damaged items starting from my old home to my new home were sent. I also refused to sign the final document due to such a unprofessional move. I received a response that my claim was denied. I am now stuck with damaged and lost items. I will be filling a report with the Better Business Bureau as well as with my Attorney. This company did not acknowledge my complaint, proof of pictures or an unsigned document. I would not refer Midway Movers to anyone that's looking to have a successful move.
