Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Please be aware, MIKE CENIT (Michigan), CEO of Renaissance Group, located in West Bloomfield, MI, is a fraud/scammer.  He took several thousand dollars from me as upfront payment for a CD Collateral Loan Program he told me would get me enough funds to start my own business.

It's been over 3 years since I wired him the funds, and I've gotten nothing but excuses as to why I am not getting any loan information.  At the beginning of 2009 I asked for my money back.  He has stalled on that, again providing me excuses for why he has not refunded my money.  Recently he has stopped responding to my e-mails and phone calls.  The last e-mail I received from him he stated he was overseas on a business trip and would get back to me when he returned.  That was over a month ago.  He has now taken a position as Vice President of Operations for Natural Blue Steel (http://www.naturalblueresources.com).  I'm guessing he has now completely stopped his efforts getting funding for people that have provided him fees for services to be done.

From what I've seen on other boards on the web, this has happened to several people.  He has partnered with Tama Mobley, Tony Bass and Teresa Turner to help orchestrate this fraud.

If you've had a similar experience with any of these people, please post to this board.  I am weighing my options for legal action against Mike Cenit and the Renaissance Group, and would be interested to hear if other people have taken any legal actions, and their success (or failure) with an action.  In addition to legal action, I am also looking at filing complaints with the SEC, FTC or IRS (whichever is appropriate), as well as a complaint with the Michigan BBB.
