Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Good Day, I run a 2-way radio service business in the state of Georgia.  I'm writing to you today to warn you so you don't get ripped off like I did.  A man by the name of Mike Tousha of 103 Alexandria Pike Apt#5 of Warrenton, VA called my shop and offered to sell or trade a Heathkit HW-101 kit unbuilt in the box for CB radio equipment on.  In order to be very brief here we made a deal over the phone.  I sent this man $1,100 in equipment in good faith and I have received nothing in return, except for a month of bull crap and lies from this person. Mr. Tousha had his un-built equipment on Craigslist, listed in the VA / Washington DC area.  He called my  place of business to solicit me in regards to these items he supposedly has.  I did not call him.

Thinking this is something I'd be interested in we made a deal.  I am now out a lot of money in the way of equipment that he wanted and all I've gotten is lie after lie from Mr. Tousha is one big headache, profanity via the cellular phone and excuses after excuses why he can not send me the equipment back.  The man is a habitual liar and you are warned here not to deal with him across state lines or you are likely to lose whatever investment you make into a deal with him.

You are welcome to reply via mail relay.

Regards

RETRACTION TO THE USE OF THE WORD THEFT

I am writing to update my posting earlier this month regarding the situation with Mr. Tousha of Warrenton, V.A.

I fee it is only right to clarify my earlier statement which said "Theft by Deception"

Yes there was a major problem dealing with Mr. Tousha of Warrenton VA and it took right at a month to rectify the situation as noted in my original posting on Ripoffreport.com.   However I am an honest person and  I would publically like to say at this time THERE WAS NO THEFT of my equipment as it took some doing but I eventually got it ALL back from Mr. Tousha.

On the other hand, I will say this was a very stressful situation in that Mr. Tousha continually lied throughout the entire transaction and there was no reason on earth why any trade / sale or transaction of any kind should every have taken 120 phone calls and my having to threaten this individual by involving the law.   To this day I don't know what the game was that he was playing, I can only believe the intent was to keep the equipment we sent to him and run a scam.

Bottom line  I wound up with a loss of several hundred dollars in shipping items from my store to Mr. Tousha by UPS and I also paid for shipping to get our items back.   Lesson learned here, I will never deal across state lines with someone I do not know again.  This entire ordeal cost me money, a lot time, and a lot of aggravation before I was able to recover my equipment from this person.

In closing I can only recommend to use a lot of caution with dealing with people over the internet while using such sites as Craig's list for example.  Deal locally where you have some leverage with the law on your side, use Ebay or Pay Pal where some prodection is offered should you wind up dealing with a con artist or get a raw deal.

I hope this is of some help to the reader.
