I received an email from Millburn Financial stating that I was preapproved for a $5000 loan. Out of curiosity I called and listened to what she (Tracy Miller) had to say at ext. 540, she told me I was approved, "congratulations" ,but I would have to pay the first 3 months ($161.34 x 3) up front which came to about $485.00.. She told me the loan was for 3 years at 10%. I told her I was unsure and I would think about it. I told her that I will send the money on 10/10/2013.
I called back on 10/10/13 and gave her the control number from Western Union; she then told me that the money should be in my account within two to four hours. Around 6:00 P.M. another representative (Corey) called. and said that I will need to come up with $1500 to cover for disability insurance. I told him that there was no way I could come up with that amount and then instantly he said the company will cover half if I come up with $1500.00. I told him that I didn’t feel good about this and I would like for them to return my money. He then told me that it would take 30-45 days for them to send me a certified check in the mail.
I then sent them an e-mail to Tracy Miller and to Customer Service requesting a refund and something in writing that my request was being processed. On 10/28/13 I decided to send another to find the website was gone, the telephone and fax number had a busy signal.
