Millett Coldwell Banker ripoff Auburn Maine
In 2005 we purchased a property from Millett Realty for $155,000.00. We purchased this property in good faith, but after moving in and the sale was final we found $4,200.00 water damage and MOLD. We brought this to the attention of the selling agent and owners and wanted some assistance in getting this problem fixed that was all. Our agent, and all other parties except for Millett Realty, were willing to help and assist us. Sharon Millett, the owner of Millett Realty, said it was not their problem and would not take part in helping us in any way.
People should realize that Realtors like these are out there for the money and that is all. Once the deal is done they don't stand behind their sale. Furthermore, we are retired and on a fixed income and needed help, since we were new to the area. It is a shame that people treat each other this way.
When we talked to Ms. Millett we got the distinct impression she was in love with herself and couldn't be bothered with such trivial things. We just hope that when she retires someone treats her the same way so she can see how helpless we felt in dealing with her.

Didn't you have a professional inspection done on the property before making an offer? They are worth every penny.
