Miracle Mate USA Deceptive gift card offer Bellignham Washington
I was telephoned and promised a $500 "gift card" if I would have a "no obligation" demo of an air purifier.
The salesman was late by half a day for the scheduled appointment. What he was actually selling was an ultra-expensive vacuum ($3,600.00) instead of an air purification system - false advertising by telephone appointment person.
I called Miracle Mate @ (360) 733-4056 and asked what they did. Women who answered lied, and said they were a solar system installer.
I have photos of the saleperson, the vacuum with accessories, and salesman's hand-writtn offer.
Salesman was unprofessional in his dress, took off his boots - said they didn't fit him properly, he did NOT know his written materials list of features and benefits, his demo unit was old and scuffed and the box was dirty. Demo unit didn't start first time he tried to turn it on. He had to re-attach the carpet sweeper head to make it work. Salesman kept saying how the Miracle Mate vacuum was best of its class.
After unprofessional salesman left in an old beat up car, I looked up on the Internet about Miracle Mate vacuums. They have competition that is rated as better and much less expensive.
All the time the unprofessional salesman promised I would receive the $500 "gift card" in less than two weeks.
I waited six week then I wrote the Bellingham WA Better Business Bureau. A week and a half later, I received a plain white #10 envelope with a smudged ink stamp return address and our address was hand written with a "forever' postage stamp - very unprofessional . Enclosed was a printed post card that said it was worth $500 redeemable at GoShoppingMall.com
What a SCAM that 'gift card' is, from something called GoShoppingMall.com. Their merchandise looks like cheap junk, you have to pay at least 25% of what they claim is the 'true' price PLUS shipping. They want your credit card number and your personal info to ship their junk merchandise from Florida.
The stuff is from a bunch of no-name companies. I bet you can get the same stuff at your local "99 Cent" chain stores.
Don't waste your time with Miracle Mate USA vacuums of Bellingham WA. Their 'gift card' promise is a total rip off.

miracle mate usa inc. has been in business for 19 years and has an A+ rating with the better business bureau. also we are located in Bellingham wa and manufacture the vacuum there. it was unfortunate that the salesman was late, but we do not have phone staff at the factory so we do not have any control over that.
the gentleman that came to your door had his own company and responsibilities to be professional, you really should have filed a complaint under his company as you do not own a miracle mate and are not having a problem with,, nor know much about vacuums in general by your ending statement. I am not obligated to send out gift cards as a manufacturer you should again have contacted him. I did send you one and was criticized for the envelope and return stamp and actually my postage stamp too. that vacuum retails at my factory for $3000.00 plus tax, and you wont find one rated better than ours , nor made out of diecast metal with a 30 year warranty on all metal and you wont get a vacuum that lasts 30 years less expensive. The machine has an XIF filter that does work as an air purification system too. Cleans the air and carpet too.
Next time you feel the need to make a complaint which you are entitled too, of course. Especially about the different gifts the different companies chose you should be filing a complaint against the organization in California, not Bellingham. it looks to me you were nice enough to let him into your home, and watch his demo and you didnt have to buy anything and got your gift card so the California office followed through. we also have a company manufacturing solar panels in our building too
his appearance should have been better, and I dont think he will sell alot of machines for them because of that too. i take care of over 40 customers a day, plus repairs needing to be done. Now if you owned a Miracle mate and were having a repair problem, or wanting to buy parts or bags that is our responsibility,or complaints about distrbutors that is my business. along with my 56 sevice centers across the usa. Gift cards are the distributors business. They decide what to buy and give out.
of course they represent us, but very hard to control sometimes who people hire. It would have been nice to talk to you and would have been resolved over the phone.
