Mississippi Mini Piglets Chad and Brooke McCarty Not reputable Breeders. Scam!!! southaven, Mississippi
We purchased 2 pigs from Chad and Brook McCarty. The first purchase went smoothly. Paid, got the pig we picked out from the posted pictures and it was delivered with health record. Decided to get another. It was the transaction from HE**. Paid, and the excuses started and the text messages. 1. Piglet got a cold and was on anitbiotic. 2. Piglet was too small to ship. 3. Weather was too cold. He could have shipped Continental Air.
Finally the piglet is to be shipped. Day 1. couldn't ship. Piggy pooped in the crate. Never bothered to notify me. If I didn't call American Air, I would have been at the air port waiting.. Day 2. American Air doesn't ship COD. Shouldn't you have known this when you made the reservation for it? Day 3. Piggy shipped on Delta. Drove to Philly (3 Hours) with 4 small children with us to get it. Wrong pig was shipped. Excuses. 1. The people at Delta take the pigs out of the crate and play with them. Yours went to Boston. 2. Got in touch with the people in Boston with the help of Delta after telling them what Chad said. They don't have my pig. They don't have the pig they picked out either. 3.Chad claimed he contacted Boston and told the man to call me but they were going to a concert and would call when they had time. NOT!!! I had already spoken to them! I'm sure Chad was shocked when I confirmed their name and Number to him. 4. We were supposed to get Hank Jr., a male, obviously, and we got a female. 5. Chad's brother sent me a pic of the pig that was ours and I told him it was the wrong one and described ours to him in detail. Still received the wrong one. 5. Chad told me I should not have accepted the pig if it was the wrong one. I should have sent it back. Delta Cargo told me there would not be any one there to care for it. I couldn't let it die. Guess Chad could. 6. Chad then told me that I got a pig, referring to me as "Lil lady" and to now leave him alone. 7. I have no health record. Delta will ship with out one. You may have to show it to them but not ship it with the pig. They don't require one for pigs. That's what Delta told me.
8. Chad told me he loaded the correct pig himself and now he is blaming his brother Darren because it was Darren that actually took them to the airport. His stories just keep getting better and better. None of them true.
Please, if you have purchased a piglet from them, contact the Southaven police, Det. Samples. There is an open investigation. Hopefully he won't be able to continue to do this to people and the poor little piggies. If you are considering purchasing from him, PLEASE DON't. I don't know what has happened after we purchased our first, but the second has been a nightmare.
