They put the date of voluntary repossion for the month of Aug, 2002 to make it appear I waited 12 months for payments to be due when I turned the 2001 Montero Sport. I'm glad that I anticipated their dishonesty and kept the original letter of voluntary repossion from PAPE Mitsubishi in Portland ME. On the letter it states I turned it in on Mar 9, 2002.

I turned it in because I made a last ditch effort to have a fair repayment plan while I still had the vehicle. All I received was verbal abuse and yelling at me how they are going to destroy my credit. So I had enough and returned it that same morning. They support City Mitsubishi's tactics of holding my $2500.00 and Dodge Neon keys for 5 hours to me and my wife were worn down. Their dealership was so aggressive, the only option was to have a physical altercation.

If you want to read more about my worderful experience with City Mitsubishi/Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America in catorgory of auto dealers. Warning: The worst rip offs occur in the dealer's finance office not on the sales floor. If you want to finance a car, go to your local bank or credit union. This will remove one shell that wily car dealers use to rip off using their con games. DO NOT give your keys or down payment to the dealer until you see terms of the contract first.

When you see the terms are unfair you can RUN out of the dishonest devilship you are in. This will give you the power to negotiate on the price of the auto. As it should be. When a dealer tries to stay away from price leave, he/she is trying to rip you off. Go to davidlewis.com, cargrant.com and joeverde.com it will help expose their methods of fleecing customers.

(Response from MMCA in regards to them holding the 2001 Montero Sport XLS and selling it for $14100.00 after having it from Mar 7-Aug 28. Also did not pay off my trade in, left a balance of 5000.00 that required me to refinance as a unsecured loan at a hight interest rate.)04/15/03 Per customer, his situation changed and in March of 2002 he chose to a voluntary surrender turning his vehicle in. He was aware of the deficiency balance and the credit reporting this caused. The vehicle was sold at auction for the amount of what the market price at the time. The customer would be responsible for the defiecency balance.

They NEVER paid off the 1997 Dodge Neon that City Mitsubishi stole from me. I'm still paying Navy Federal Credit Union for it since Oct 27, 2001.

I demand full refund of $2500.00 that was extorted from me by your dealership City Mitsubishi of Jacksonville FL for an automobile I never wanted in the first place. You have 30 days to comply by 12-14-02 or I seek award for damages inflicted on me from the sale of reposed Montero Sport below fair market value, addition to fraudulent information entered on my credit report, and additional damages.

Also, I will seek damages for unfair debt collection by GC Services or any other enity that wants to extort me on behalf of Mitsubihsi Motors Credit of America.

It is pathetic that your dealers have to resort to deceptive and unfair practices to sale your shoddy, defective, inferior, and over-priced vehicles. My account number is __________.

If this matter is not settled I will seek full award for damages due to me. This an attempt to collect a debt and all information will be used for this purpose.

Please attempt to inflict more damage on me. I would love to have 1% of Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America.
